Brief Background

Since opening its first branch on 26 September 1960, Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) has grown to become the country’s second-largest thrift bank in terms of assets.

It is the first publicly listed thrift bank in the Philippines and belongs to the Metrobank Group, one of the largest financial conglomerates in the country with business interests in banking, financing, leasing, manufacturing, power generation, real estate and stock brokering.

PSBank caters mainly to the retail and consumer markets. It offers a wide range of products and services such as deposits, loans, treasury and trust.

Acquisition of a house and lot, vacant lot, townhouse or condo unit, duplex, house construction, or renovation, refinancing, equity or reimbursement of acquisition cost.

Loan amount depends on the collateral, developer, and appraisal of the property.

The loan is payable up to a maximum of 25 years for a house and lot, townhouse, duplex or condo, depending on the loan purpose or up to 10 years for a residential lot purchase.

Choose from a variety of fixed term options that locks in the interest rate for every succeeding period of 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 years, until the principal is fully paid

For all applicants:
  • Completely filled-out PSBank Home Loan application form
  • Cash or Check payable to Philippine Savings Bank as non-refundable payment for appraisal fees (waived if acquiring from an Registered developer)
  • Photocopy of Transfer / Condominium Certificate of Title (TCT/CCT)
  • Contract to Sell / Reservation Agreement (if acquiring from an Registered developer)
  • Valid photo-bearing IDs with signature
  • Copy of Marriage Contract (if married)
  • Copy of Court Decision on Annulment and Certificate of Finality of Decision (if annulled)
  • Copy of Court Decision on Legal Separation and Certificate of Finality of Decision (if legally separated)
If applicant is employed:
  • Latest Certificate of Employment
  • Income Tax Return or BIR Form 2316, 2306, 2307 or 1700
If applicant is in business or professional practice:
  • Latest BIR Form 1701 or 2317 with BIR stamp
  • Latest audited Financial Statement
If applicant is an overseas Filipino:
  • Non-immigrant (contractual worker)
    Any of the following*
    1. Consularized Certificate of Employment
    2. Job Contract
    3. Proof of remittance for the past three months
  • Immigrant
    - Latest Certificate of Employment and any of the following*
    1. Pay slips for the past 3 months
    2. Latest Income Tax Return
    3. Proof of remittance for the past three months

* Waived if applicant or spouse has an active PSBank OFW Account

If there are other sources of income: Proof of other income such as Certificate of Deposits, Stock/Bond Certificate, Lease Contract showing terms and monthly payment, etc.

Prime Rebate
PSBank allows its customers to earn rebates or savings when they make advance or excess payments on their PSBank Home Loan’s monthly due. The rebate is automatically applied to all new and existing term loans. The client does not need to register or enroll to get the rebate. Rebates earned from advance or excess payments are computed on a daily basis – including weekends and holidays.
